Our Imported Wilton Icing Color Black is a concentrated food colouring paste. This black colouring is suitable to colour buttercream, marzipan, fondant, gum paste, icing, batter, cookie dough and much more. The colours can also be mixed to create your own colour. Then colour 2 pieces of fondant separate and mix them together.
Instructions for use: use a cocktail stick to take some colouring from the jar. Use a clean stick every time you add more colouring and wipe it on your marzipan or fondant. For a deeper colour, simply add more colouring. Knead well to colour evenly, knead less for a marbled effect. Make sure the colouring stays in the middle of the mass to prevent your hands getting covered in colour. Wash your hands with warm water and soap to clean the colour off your hands.
Suitable for food on water base. Not suitable for colouring chocolate.
Maximum usable dose: 1,64g/100g.
Ingredients: glucose syrup, sugar, humectant (glycerol (E422)), water, colours (E153), starch, acidity regulators (citric acid (E330)), sodium citrates (E331), thickener (agar (E406)), preservative (potassium sorbate (E202)). May contain milk, soybean, wheat, peanuts, nuts, fish, crustaceans, celery, mustard, sesame and molluscs.
Shelf life: approx. 9 months to 1.5 year.
